Deepening the spirit of the 2024 General Chapter, the participants of the FIC Core leadership spend a day in reflection at the start of the FIC Core Leadership Workshop. We consider Circular Letter No. 2 issued by the General Council 2024-2030. The letter is titled 'Renewal of our Consecrated Life and Mission in the Spirit of Synodality.'

The reflection day began with a green round session where participants shared their feelings and expectations for the workshop scheduled for the following day. The participants were enthusiastic about the workshop and looked forward to fruitful discussions with brothers from different countries, aiming to enhance understanding through sharing experiences.

The second part involved participants engaging in personal reading and reflecting on the Circular Letter. There are several topics to consider, including the spirit of synodality in community life, the renewal of consecrated life, the revitalisation of the mission to the youth, and the promotion of solidarity and collaboration.

The participants were invited to reflect on how these topics manifest in their daily lives as FIC Brothers and in their apostolic work, where the Brothers endeavour to live out the Spirit. Through sharing experiences, the participants recognise that the spirit of synodality plays an essential role in the brothers' lives—walking together, respecting others' dignity, and humbly serving. In this spirit, the brothers are called to renew the consecrated life within the community and to revitalise the apostolic mission to the youth. The recollection day concluded with a plenary sharing and Eucharistic celebration. We thank God for the inspiration and renewal we receive today.
