Fieldwork and ‘preparation’ of new children as an activity continue throughout the quarter. Fieldworkers continue to use the same approach of building rapport with the children and inviting them to the refuge and Hopeland Training centre. Preparation of children has intensified in both centres. However with the increase in numbers, there is pressure on furniture and teaching materials and other facilities.
