On Sunday, 8th March, 2020, all the brothers in the province gathered at the Provincial House – Bethel community to reflect on our apostolic engagement at the college and to discuss on how best we can successfully sustain it and positively impact on the deprived youth of the area and elsewhere in the country.
Bro. Nkonde, carpentry and joinery instructor at the college, gave a brief account of the current situation of the college. He pointed out that the college is in the process of accreditation by TEVETA (Technical Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training), a body that regulates Technical education in the country. He pointed out that the college scored 60% (sixty percent), in the recent inspection by the TEVETA officials. The officials also raised several recommendations. Currently the college has twenty five students.
The Malawi Provincial Council invited the Principal of Comboni Technical College, Brother Louis Mccj, to share experience on technical education, challenges and opportunities. DOWNLOAD FILE
