Dear friends Shalom to you all. 

Shalom is a Hebrew word that is understood around the world to mean „peace‟. Again, the word is used  both to greet   people and to bid them farewell. It also connotes completeness, wholeness, health, perfectness and fullness. This is why we say „Shalom‟ to you our dear friends because this newsletter has come back to stay for good.  

Shalom Newsletter is published by the Vocation Promotion Team of the Brothers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary     (FIC) in the Malawi Province. It is published with an intention of keeping constant communication with our aspirants and pass some information to all people of good will. In shalom we write different articles both from the brothers and the candidates themselves. Anyone who is interested to contribute their article in form of reflections, stories and jokes are encouraged to forward their articles to the Vocation Promotion Team. We will also be answering some of the questions that most of the youth ask.  

In this issue of Shalom we are going to share with you some of the events that have taken place in Malawi province and those events that are yet to come among others.  May the Peace and love of the Almighty God be with you.
