Last day of second session of Chapter, Malawi Province

The third day of chapter started with prayer service led by Mzedi community. The theme of the prayer service was “step to the transformation”. In the reflection, the theme of prayer service was in line with the chapter theme. In order to succeed transformation brothers should exercise patience, humbleness, courage, acceptance and ready to embrace every change comes.

The session started with the proceedings of the provincial council report, deepening of proposal topics, formation discussion and financial report discussion. Brothers expressed different view concerning the mentioned topics. Most of the brothers were live and eagerly presented their views. Brothers suggested some of the ways also to improve the province’s income generating activities. Under formation the delegates were asked to brainstorm the future of joint formation between Malawi and Ghana province.

 In the afternoon after discussions, the provincial superior was asked to give the concluding remarks. He expressed his gratitude to the facilitator as well as delegates for being live and cooperative. He urged brothers to be committed in all aspects of life so that the transformation and growth be achieved. “Honest transformation starts with the individual himself, then at the community level and eventually at provincial level” he proceeded. Finally, members gathered for evening mass and then there was farewell gathering.
