BROTHERS FIC GHANA PROVINCE. PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE

THEME: “DEEPENING OUR APOSTOLIC MISSION THROUGH PRAYER AND

      COMMUNITY LIFE”

The third day of the conference started with the celebration of the holy eucharist at 6:30am. Brothers Alpitio Kog and Irenius Nimbare animated the liturgy for the morning session. With a bright, warm and sunny morning, delegates assembled at 8:30am in their smaller groups to continue with the unfinished business for the previous day: that is the discussion on the Provincial Council report for 2018-2021. From 8:30am to 10:30am delegates completed the discussions in the smaller groups and reconvened in the larger group in the conference hall to present their reports. Members of every group took turn to present their report. Group 1 started the exercise followed by group 2 and three. Every group presentation was followed by clarifying questions from the House. The presentations from the various groups were well carried out and group members responded to the clarifying questions from the house. In the presentation, all groups came out with relevant and burning issues emanating from the PC report. Delegates ended this exercise at 11:30am and PC members held a separate meeting to prepare responses to the groups’ questions raised in the presentations. Lunch came on at 12:30pm.

The afternoon session started at 3:30pm. PC members took turns to respond to the questions raised in the groups’ presentations to the satisfaction of the house. Some issues generated lengthy discussions on the floor of the house. At the end, members were satisfied with the responses that the PC provided to the questions. The day’s business finally came to a close at 5:40pm and members went for vespers at 6:00pm and thence to the dining for supper. Recreation followed at 9:00pm.
