BROTHERS FIC, GHANA PROVINCE CEREMONIES OF TRANSITION, RENEWAL OF VOWS AND TEMPORARY PROFESSION. DATE: 6TH & 7th SEPTEMBER, 2023. THEME: FULLNESS OF LIFE IN CHRIST. On the 7th of September, 2023, Brothers FIC, Ghana Province, witnessed the First Profession of Religious Vows by Brs. Kyiileyang Frederick, Aabeyir John Vianne and Prince Kob in the In- Service Training Centre (ISTC) Chapel, Wa. The solemn occasion was preceded by ceremonies of transition in initial formation and renewal of vows the previous evening; organized to mark the end of the annual common retreat of the Brothers. The celebration was held under the theme: Call to Serve. The Eucharist was presided by Very Rev. Fr. Pamphilio Tengan, Dean of Wa Deanery, on behalf of the Diocesan Administrator, Very Rev. Fr. Cornelius Bayirinuba.

Pamphilio, in his homily exhorted the three Brothers to embrace their Religious Life with all the seriousness that it deserves, paying adequate attention to prayer and community life. He further admonished them to radiate the joy of the Gospel to all those who will come into direct contact with them in the course of their apostolic duties. After the Eucharistic celebration, the guests were invited to the forecourts of the In Service Training Centre (ISTC) for some refreshment. The occasion was graced by a good number of the FIC Brothers, Priests and other Religious Congregations in the Wa Diocese, the families of the three newly Professed Brothers, the Dagaare Choir of St. Cecilia’s Parish and a few invited guest.
