The provincial council of Chile begins on Oct. 6, 2024. (day one)

We had four blocks on the first day of the third sesión of the Chile Provincial Chapter. To begin the chapter session, we heard a motivating message from the Provincial Superior (Bro. Lucio Torres), and then we entered the first and second blocks. We started with a special prayer. Then, the moderator invited us to deepen the message of the General Council (Circular Letter from Superior General) and its resonances with the participants' personal lives. Then, we continue, reflecting on Synodality. 

In the third block, we reflected on the Senior Citizens  (elderly brothers) Policy. When we began discussing the province’s leadership, the moderator asked us to name the type of leadership we wanted and the characteristics, and each participant presented their opinion. We listen to each other and share our views.  After that, we entered a rapprochement in the first Provincial Council election. We found two provincial superior candidates, namely Bro. Lucio Torres Martin and Bro. Diego Izquierdo and three provincial council candidates are Bro. Javier Solís, Bro. Marcelo and Bro. Eko Wijayanto.  

In the evening, before the Eucharist, we discussed the reflection on the Senior Citizens Policy (Elderly Brothers) 2021. Finally, we ended the day with the Eucharist and coexistence at Casa Betalpu, a cosy and quiet place. Thank God we have gone through the first day of our provincial chapter well.
