One Minute Vacation

Dear Lord,

I am always so anxious and so eager to have done right away. I hurry as if I was the only one who had to do them all, forgetting that You are still there. I am always in a hurry, Lord:

-       to have,

-       to do,

-       to think,

-       to see the far away harvest at this moment, right now.

I am always in a hurry!

-       Working,

-       eating,

-       walking,

-       sitting down, and standing up,

there is a feeling that I must do it before anyone else does.

Slow me down, dear Lord, slow me down.
