The last day of ConCon 2014. We opened our day with our morning prayer led by Bro. Seregeous Dery. The theme of our morning prayer was “Testimony the Thruth”. This theme has connection with the feast of “Martyrdom of Saint. Jhon the Baptizer”.

The ConCon closed after the first morning session. There were three topics that we discussed during morning session: Resolutions ConCon 2014, Provincial Day, and Any Other Bussiness. There were 15 points resolutions that we have made during our meeting. Some of the important things that come up from our meeting are for example: 1) Deepening on Servant Leadership can be continued and developed further in the province; 2) International meeting for formators will be organized in Indonesia 2016 together with the ConCon of the year; 3)All provinces need to continue their effort to do vocation promotion, the most effective promotion is through exemplary way of living. It was decided that every 21st day of teh month the whole congregation will pray for vocations; 4)Jubilee year 2015: each province will celebrate this important event of the Congregation in a modest way and in accordance with the situation and the need of the province; 5) The General Conference 2015 is to be held in Ghana, from 2 – 13 November 2015; 6)GC is taking care of the “after-care service” of the FIC Journey participants after OASIS; etc.

Based on the evaluations we made, we were all satisfied with the process and the resolutions of the meeting. The meeting went smoothly and the atmosfeer among us was relax, there was not any tension at all. In connection with accomodation, we felt satisfy. We thank to the brothers of Malawi Province as a host of the meeting, who have done their best to prepare everything we need both of meeting and accomodation. We were all happy.

In his closing address, Bro. Martin Handoko, our General Superior, regarding to our ConCon, he said that I am fully aware that this conference is not meant to solve all the problems of the congregation. However through listening to the sharing of experiences of our fellow leaders, I hope we feel united in our struggle to live out our call, and at the same time are encouraged to continue finding the best way to help our brothers grow to be fully alive as a religious. I am also convinced that  through out the conference we have been mutually giving and receiving support, inspiration and encouragement  in many aspects of religious lives.

We hope that we can realize and implement all the resolutions we have made in the coming years. We ask Lord to continue to lead and to guide us in accordance to spread out the Kingdom of God to the people surround and to our fellow brothers. Bro. Theodorus led the closing prayer with the theme “Called and Send out Together”.
