12.07.2024 16:16:18 1000x read. NETHERLANDS Desease dear late broeder Maarten Bouw Martinus Maria. Dear Brothers,
It is our sad duty to inform you about the passing away of Bro. Maarten Bouw, who died on July 10, 2024.
The mourning card reads as follows:
"
Congregation of the Brothers of the Immaculate Conception of Mary
'The gentle forces will surely win in the end, this I hear as a heartfelt whisper within me'
After a life of faithful dedication and service, we have had to say goodbye with sadness to our dear family member and faithful fellow brother
BROTHER Maarten Bouw
Martinus Maria
Maarten was born in Gemert on 21 October 1932.
By taking his vows, he committed himself as Brother Maarten to the Congregation FIC on August 15, 1957.
He died on Wednesday 10 July 2024 in De Beyart in Maastricht.
Brother Maarten was a caring man, always ready to help others during his long life. His ability to make genuine connections with people, regardless of their background, reflected God's love for humanity. In 1965 he went to Ghana, where he was "co-founder" of this new "mission area". In this country he worked for 34 years. He loved the Ghanaians very much and he also considered this "the most beautiful period in his life".
Back in the Netherlands, he was quickly elected to the provincial council. As the person with ultimate responsibility, he led us with mildness and much humour. He was a dedicated man, involved with each of his fellow brothers.
Maarten was also a dear and faithful family member and always received great support from them, even in his last years of life.
We lose in him a precious man for his family and the Congregation.
We will say goodbye to brother Maarten at the Eucharist on Tuesday, 16 July at 2.30 pm in the chapel of De Beyart. After the celebration, he will be laid to rest at the cemetery of the FIC Brothers at the Anjoulaan in Maastricht.
There is no parking available on the premises of De Beyart. You may find a parking in the immediate vicinity.
So far the mourning card.

May he rest in perfect peace. |
