Dear Brothers,

It is our sad duty to inform you about the passing away of Bro. Albert Ketelaars on November 3, 2017.

The text of the mourning card reads as follows:

God's ways are sometimes incomprehensible. With feelings of great sadness, we report to you the unexpected passing away of our very dear family member, loyal fellow brother and friend

Lambertus Josephus

He was born on March 14, 1942 in Veghel. On August 15, 1962 he committed himself to the Congregation of the Brothers FIC by making his first vows. He passed away on November 3, 2017 in Maastricht.

'Death can come like a thief in the night'. That happened strongly to Bro.  Albert, and to us as family and fellow brothers. All of a sudden we had to say goodbye to a richly gifted, deeply believing and socially moved man. He gave the best of his life to fellow human beings in Ghana, whom he closed deep into his heart. For twelve years he was an inspiring General Superior to his fellow brothers. His family took a warm place in his life.

We say goodbye to Brother Albert during the Eucharistic celebration which will be held on Thursday, November 9 in the chapel of De Beyart at 14.30. Afterwards he will be buried at our cemetery near the Anjoulaan in Maastricht.
