ALL SOULS DAY – 2ND NOVEMBER 2020 (By Nov. Gasper Kalisto).

Today as the church commemorates all the faithful departed, in a special way, all the

brothers in Malawi Province gathered at Mzedi Parish to remember our fellow brothers

who have preceded us into eternal life. The occasion started with a requiem mass and

then a procession to the cemetery of brothers where the brothers (representatives) from

all communities laid their wreaths together with the parishioners. During mass, both

brothers and parishioners presented the names of their departed brothers and sisters at the

altar whilst lighting up candles as a symbol of hope, knowing that the faithful departed

share in the resurrection of Christ who is the light of the world.
