WORDS OF CONDOLENCE ON THE DEATH OF THE LATE BRO. WHILHEM.

From a WhatsApp text message posted by Bro. Theodorus Suwariyanto I understand that we lost a fellow brother in the person of Bro. Whilhem. I am saddened by this bad news. I write to express my pain, grieve and at the same time my condolence to all of you who have lived and worked with our late brother.

I remember that I met the late Bro. Whilhem very briefly at the only time I was in Indonesia (in the year 2012.)  My prayer and hope had been that I will have the opportunity to meet him again and interact more intimately with him. As it may be the case, Covid-19 has completely denied me the opportunity and any chance to meet him. This indeed is painful!!! Like you, I wish we could reverse this sad occurrence but since that is absolutely impossible; we can only console ourselves in the hope of meeting in heaven. Thus, I wish to once again express my condolence to you (the Brothers) and friends of the late Bro. Whilhem. May his noble soul find rest with his Creator.

Brothers, we remain united in the Spirit in this time of bereavement. We will also remain united with our decease brothers through the commemoration of the events of their death. May our beloved founders and fellow deceased brothers together with the host of angels and saints in heaven receive the noble soul of our brother Whilhem. May God give him eternal rest till we meet again.
