It is our sad duty to inform you about the passing away of Bro. Cajetanus Ignatius Samina (Wijarsaatmadja) on November 21, 2019 at the age of 79 years.

CAJETANUS IGNATIUS SAMINA (WIJARSAATMADJA) FIC

He was born on February 26, 1940 in Baturetno Wonogiri, Indonesia. On July 2, 1963 he committed himself to the FIC Congregation by making his temporary vows. Strengthened by the anointing of the Sick, he passed away on November 21, 2019 in Semarang, Indonesia.

The apostolate of Bro. Cajetanus was in education. He worked at the Central YPL Office and at the YPL branch in Yogyakarta and Jakarta and he led the financial administration of the dormitory of PL Van Lith Muntilan High School. After his retirement he moved to Semarang Wisma Bernardus.

The last few years the health condition of Bro. Cajetanus was unstable. Several times he received treatment at the Elisabeth Hospital Semarang due to deteriorating health conditions. Since October 19, 2019 he was admitted to the Elisabeth Hospital in Semarang.

On November 10, Bro. Cajetanus left the hospital and returned to Wisma Bernardus. On November 18, he received the anointing of the sick from Fr. Novensius Sadipun Pr.

On November 21, 2019 at 02.10 Bro. Cajetanus was called by the Father in heaven.
