Re: APPROBATION FOR NEW PROVINCIAL COUNCIL INDONESIA [2024-2030]

Following the election results at the final session of the Provincial Chapter and your request for approbation of the new Provincial Council dated 9th November 2024, in line with Article 43.1 of our Congregational Statutes, and with the consent of both the outgoing and incoming members of the General Council, I am pleased to inform you that I grant approbation of the election of the following Brothers to form a new Provincial Council of the Indonesia for the coming six years:

Bro. Agustinus Giwal Santoso Provincial Superior

Bro. Martinus Hans Gendut Suwardi Vicar

Bro. Petrus Anjar Trihartono Provincial Councilor

Bro. F.A. Galih Sih Hartanta Provincial Councilor

Bro. Albertus Suwarto Provincial Councilor

On behalf of the Congregation, and especially the members of the General Council, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected members of the Provincial Council for accepting the divine call to leadership, particularly over the Brothers of the FIC Indonesia Province. May you be inspired and strengthened by the Holy Spirit as you embark on this sacred mission of service.

I would also like to salute Bro Fransiskus Asisi Dwiyatno, who has been such an exemplary and inspiring Provincial Superior for two terms in office. I also express gratitude to Bros. Michael Sidharta Susila, Antonius Karyadi, Yohanes Bosco Purwanto and Martinus Gendut Suwardi, who serviced the brothers so dedicatedly in the past years. Their tireless efforts, sacrifices, teamwork and dedication have been invaluable to the growth and well-being of our Brothers.

I equally express my deep appreciation for the thoughtful and prayerful discernment process undertaken by the members of the Provincial Chapter. Your attentiveness to the Spirit and openness to God's will is commendable and reflects our community's deep commitment to walk in faith. The results of your discernment, as evident in the chapter message and resolutions in particular, will serve in the coming years to fulfil God's will, the mission of our Congregation and the hope of the brothers and God's people.

On a personal note, I urge the new leadership to begin this journey together with a strong spirit of unity and cooperation, relying on God's grace to build a solid team in the coming years. Rest assured of the General Council's support and my prayers as you enter this new role. May the Lord bless and guide you as you take up this mantle of leadership for the good of the Province and our Congregation.
