GHANA
Report for day four of Ghana Provincial Chapter.

FIC BROTHERS, GHANA PROVINCIAL CHAPTER

FIRST SESSION

REPORT FOR DAY 4

The day was quite sunny and warm even in the morning. Members prayed together in the chapel at 7:00am from the feast of the day, that is St. Peter. At 8:30am chapter members met in the usual conference hall to listen to responses from the PC on issues raised from group discussions on the PC report to the chapter. The session was also meant for members of the chapter to gather the fruits of the previous discussions. When this was done, the house went on break and to continue with lunch. After lunch, members of the various groups met to start the process of electing the members for the coming General Chapter. This exercise was in preparation for the election proper of the General Chapter members to take place the following day.

The house regrouped at 4:30pm to hear from the various groups the members selected for the General Chapter. The exercise was meant to put the whole house in readiness for the election proper come the following day. The day ended with Eucharistic celebration in the chapel and supper. We had our usual recreation at 9:00pm where the facilitator of the Conference, Rev. Fr. Edward Tengan donated 2 bottles of wine to our Bro. Peter Kuuniabom, a chapter member who was celebrating his feast day. We retired to our rooms to sleep at separate times convenient to us.

Compiled by the contact persons for Communication in the Province.
