CLOSING CEREMONY TO MARK THE END OF ONE WEEK RETREAT OF FIC BROTHERS - GHANA PROVINCE.

DEEPENING OUR COMMUNITY LIFE BY WAY OF WITNESSING TO GOD'S MERCY.

The annual retreat of the Brothers FIC, Ghana Province came to a close with a Holy Mass presided over by His Lordship Most Rev. Bishop Sowah Boi-Nai, the catholic Bishop of Yendi diocese. A total of thirty brothers participated in the annual spiritual event. In welcoming the congregation, the Provincial Superior (Bro. Seregeous Dery) outlined the purpose of the gathering to include:

a.  Formally bringing to a close the 2016 FIC Common retreat,

b. Witness to the renewal of religious vows by Bro. Joseph Kyoore

c. Witness to the migration stages of formation (prenovitiate to canonical year of novitiate of Bros. Elijah Abugri, Jonas Porekuu and Edmond Mopuuro and from Canonical year of novitiate to apostolic year of novitiate of Bro. Cletus Saanu.

d. Thank God for the life of Bros. Patrick Binneh and Alpitio Kog who turned Silver this 15th September, 2016.

In delivering his sermon, Bishop Boi-Nai reminded the brothers to live their community life worthy of emulation. There was merry making and all fund among the brothers in the dining hall when they went to dinner.  Bro. Peter Saatuo delivered a powerful thank you not and made donation to the retreat preacher on behalf of the Provincial Council.
