TEMPORARY PROFESSION AND RENEWAL OF VOWS IN GHANA PROVINCE Date: 07/09/17 Venue: ISTC Chapel temporary profession of Bro. Cletus Saanuu and the renewal of vows of Bros. Francis Kofi Sarfo, Linus Delle and Alexander Kofi Koomson came on successfully in the ISTC Chapel on the 7th September, 2017. The following postulants also migrated into Canonical year of noviciate: Yengdem Callistus and Ganye Prosper. Bros. Elijiah Abugri, Jonas Porekuu and Edmond Mopuu also moved to the apostolic year of novnovices. The Eucharistic celebration to mark the occasion was presided over by His Lordship, Bishop Richard Baawobr Kuuia, M.Afr. Bishop of Wa diocese. In his welcome address to the congregation, the Provincial Superior stated that there are four main reasons behind the celebration. Thus: 1. To thank God for the love and blessings bestowed on all the brothers in the province and having spoken to them individually during the days of reflections in the retreat. 2. To support Brother Cletus Suurnibe Saanuu to make his first profession of vows in the FIC family, 3. To witness to the formal migration of the brothers in formation to the various stages of formation, and 4. To witness to the renewal of vows of our young brothers whose names have been mentioned above. The occasion was attended by some family members of Bro. Cletus Saanuu who makes his first profession. The mass started at 10:00am and by 1:00pm it was over in the chapel. Dining took place in St. Louis hall. By Bro. Kuu-Ireme S. Godwin (FIC) |
