It is our sad duty to inform you about the passing away of our dear fellow brother

Brother Godfrey N. Debzie FIC

on Palm Sunday April 9, 2017 in Wa, Ghana.

He was born on July 10, 1956 in Kokoligu, Ghana. On September 15, 1984 he committed himself to the FIC Congregation by making his temporary vows. He passed away on April 9, 2017 at the Regional Hospital in Wa, Ghana at the age of 60. 

Bro. Godfrey was actively involved in the technical education of the youth in various parts of Ghana. On grounds of ill-health he retired from the post of Principal of the Catholic Technical Institute (CTI) in Sunyani at the age of 58. Since then he had sought medical treatment for his illness until last Palm Sunday when the Lord called him into His abode of eternal peace.

The funeral will take place on 12th and 13th May, 2017 at St Louis Community in Wa, after which his mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Brothers FIC common cemetery at the same venue.

May Bro. Godfrey rest in the perfect peace of his Creator.
