Subject: Arrangements for the funeral and burial of late Bro. Nicholas Zumanaa, FIC

Fraternal greetings from the Provincial Council (PC) to you all in your respective communities and apostolates.

I assume that you are all aware by now of the untimely demise of our brother - Bro. Nicholas Zumanaa, FIC as the sad news was immediately relayed to all House Superiors and later followed up by email announcement from the Provincial Secretary. This sad event occurred on 29Th October, 2014 at about 12.30am in the Provincial House, Wa.

The PC after due consultation with the Local Ordinary and Family elders of the deceased has scheduled the funeral on Friday, 21St - Saturday, 22Nd November, 2014 at St. Louis Community - Wa. The body will be received at the St. Andrew Cathedral, Wa on Friday, 21St November, 2014 at 3.00pm. Thereafter, we will proceed to St. Louis Community Chapel for a prayer service exclusively for Brothers FIC. Once this is over, traditional morning will commence immediately till Friday 22Nd November, 2014 for the funeral mass at 10:00am and followed by burial at our cemetery in St. Louis compound, Wa.

To ensure that a befitting funeral and burial is accorded the late Bro. Nicholas, advance proper planning, synergy of effort and coordination is critically vital. Hence the need for shared responsibilities through formation of committees. As we are constrained by time, it is expected that leaders of the various committees would expedite actions to produce results within set deadlines. If any committee is facing challenges in the discharge of their mandate, they should not hesitate to contact me or the vice Provincial Superior without delay. Please find on page 2 of this memo, the list of committees and their respective members.
