BROTHERS FIC, GHANA PROVINCE HOLDS PROVINCIAL COUNCIL & LOCAL COUNCILS’ (PC/LC) MEETING.

The seventh PC/LC meeting of Ghana Province of the Brothers FIC was held in St. Louis Community library on the 30/06/17. The meeting which opened at 8:40am was attended by all the Provincial Council members and the local council members from the various communities in the province. An opening prayer to start the meeting was said by Nandom Mt. Zion community. The Provincial Superior (Bro. Seregeous Dery) in his welcome address pointed out that Local council members in the various communities constitute the frontline managers in the running of the Province. The house unanimously adopted the agenda as a guide for the days’ programme. The rest of the time was spent on sharing the joys and worries from the various communities in the first session of the meeting.

The house went for a fifteen minute brake and returned to start the second session. The topics for discussion in the second session included: the will for a brother; SSNIT benefits issues of deceased brothers; follow up on proposed leadership workshop for the brothers; FIC common retreat and update on FIC St. Louis SHS (fence wall project). Information was also given to the house on the impending provincial chapter; template for community annual appraisal and evaluation of the meeting after an A O B.
