BROTHERS FIC GHANA PROVINCE

 FIRST SESSION OF PROVINCIAL CHAPTER 2018

DATE: 18^TH – 24^TH FEBRUARY, 2018

VENUE: ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY CONFERENCE HALL

THEME: “DEEPENING OUR APOSTOLIC MISSION THROUGH PRAYER AND COMMUNITY LIFE”.

The FIC Ghana Province had the official opening of the 2018 Provincial Chapter at 8pm in the St. Louis Conference Hall with a prayer let by Bro. Felicio Gyeyir. The Chapter is convened under the theme: “DEEPENING OUR APOSTOLIC MISSION THROUGH PRAYER AND COMMUNITY LIFE”.

It was heartwarming to see all the chapter delegates in attendance except Bro. Joachim Naah who had been called impromptu to duty at the Head Office of the Ghana Education Service in Accra. He will join the house on Wednesday 21^stFebruary, 2018 to follow the proceedings of the Chapter.  The Provincial Superior requested the house to accept Bros. William Nyuzagl and Nimorious Ganee as recording secretaries of the Chapter 2018. They were accepted as recording secretaries.

Having warmly welcomed the delegates to the official opening session of the Provincial Chapter 2018 and declaring the Chapter duly opened, the Provincial Superior, Bro. Seregeous Dery introduced to the delegates Rev. Fr. Edward Tengan of Wa Diocese who doubles as the Director of the Pastoral and Social Institute, Wa as the facilitator of the FIC Ghana Provincial Chapter 2018. Fr Edward was pleased to be given the opportunity to carry out this important task for the third time in the life of the Ghana Province of the FIC.

After setting up committees to take care of practical matters of the Chapter, the opening session was closed with a prayer led by Bro. Alpitio Kog at 8.48pm.
