Dear Brothers,

It is our sad duty to announce to you the passing away of Bro. Piet Neggers on 2 March 2015 in Maastricht.

Herewith we send you the text of the mourning card, which reads as follows:

" Congregation of the Brothers of the Immaculate Conception of Mary

            'I want to give everything, Lord,

             but it's hard to love everyone

             without keeping one single for himself.'

With sadness we inform you that we have to say goodbye to a good family member and our dear fellow-brother

Piet was born in Eindhoven on March 22, 1937. At his profession in the Congregation of the Brothers FIC in 1965 he took the religious name Erhard. On March 2, 2015, he died unexpectedly in his apartment at the Via Regia in Maastricht.

Following the example of two of his blood-brothers, Piet became a member of the Congregation. He has made himself meritorious as a teacher and headmaster of several primary schools in Maastricht for 27 years. Before this long period in Maastricht, he worked for 7 years as a teacher in Eindhoven.

He will now celebrate the 50th anniversary of his profession, which would take place coming August 15, with his Lord.

We say goodbye to Bro. Piet during the Eucharistic celebration on Saturday, March 7th in the chapel of De Beyart, starting at 14:30. After that, the burial ceremony will take place at our monastery graveyard near the Anjoulaan in Maastricht.
