Disease dear late Bro. Peter Saatuo FIC

Dear Brothers,

It is our sad duty to inform you about the passing away of Bro. Peter Saatuo, who died on October 30th, 2023 in Ghana:

BROTHER PETER SAATUO FIC

He was born on April 6, 1939 in Dangko (Nandom-parish), Ghana.

He made his first profession of religious vows in our Congregation on September 15, 1966 and his final profession on February 23, 1973.

At the age of 84 years he passed away on October 30, 2023 in the Upper West Regional Hospital in Wa, Ghana.

The mortal remains of late Bro. Peter have been deposited in the hospital mortuary.

Details of the funeral arrangement will be communicated later.

The late Bro. Peter was among the group of first Ghanaian FIC Brothers absorbed from the defunct Brothers of St. Joseph (an indigenous male Congregation started by the Missionaries of Africa in Wa Diocese in 1947).

He has made himself fully available in various forms of apostolate, both internally and externally. In this way has contributed to the growth of the Ghana Province and has provided valuable assistance to many people.

We trust that the Lord who called Br. Peter Saatuo will give him a restful place in heaven.
